George Carlin R.I.P.

carlin.jpg

This is a sad day in stand-up comedy history. George Carlin died last night of heart failure. He was 71 years-old.

George checked into St. John's hospital in Santa Monica for chest pain, and died later that night of heart failure. R.I.P. George...you will be missed.

WOW!!! Ya blew me away with this one Nads...........

It's too sad! I grew up watching him and he can't be replaced.

RIP George!
It is such a sad day for us all, who applaud people who not only were hysterically funny, but told the TRUTH and believed in our way of life, our freedoms, and was not afraid to speak up.
I have seen George many, many times, and although he could be rough, I loved him for how he stood up for us, and told it the way it was, is, and will be. I will miss him, his humor, and his wit.
I am sure George is doing stand-up to a full house, wherever he is. My prayers go out to his family, and to his fans, knowing there will NEVER be anyone who could fill his shoes. From the Hippy Dippy Mailman, the Hippy Dippy Weatherman, to the MAN, I love all of you!
RIP George, RIP!

This one killed me. I can't believe it.

I am so shocked. It is so sad.

He was super human to me...larger than life...it's hard to believe he's passed...He paved the way for so many, and was the father of stand-up comedy for a lot of us. It's so weird because I was just talking about him this past Friday and saying what a pioneer he was and how he's over 70 and still touring...then he goes and dies on us.
We will miss u George.
