OMG, could you imagine the Fred Armisen Governor Paterson confrontation? I think the last time I remember laughing out loud at SNL was when Fred Armisen blindly (no pun intended) went in front of the camera blocking the Weekend Update shot. It was SOOO funny.
Governor Paterson thinks it will bring in ratings. He told the Gothamist, "I've offered to come on 'Saturday Night Live' because I thought I would help them get the ratings. Because clearly that humor that they had when they first had Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi... has gone [with] this [current] cast of characters. I thought I would show some benevolence as governor and help them out a little bit."
Remember this clip?

That would be such genius! The Governor Patterson skits are the funniest thing on the show by far, especially when they throw Elliot Spitzer in there.
