Heroes lost me season three and I haven't looked back, but that seems to be the running theme for a lot of people. As you may or may not have heard, Heroes struggled for ratings in its third season. Fortunately for the show, NBC is too invested to just cancel it, so what's the next best thing? Fire the co-executive producers.
Co-executive producers Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb got the big ax yesterday. The two writer-producers had been with the show since its first season and led the day-to-day of the show under the creator/executive producer Tim Kring...but not anymore. Hope the firing works for the sake of the show, because the show was starting to suck.

agreed. i'm hoping for a turn around.
i think a story like that should really speak to the great success a show like lost has been. it's easy to have a single-season hit show based on an offbeat premise. but to sustain the success with great writing and a fluid storyline is not easy.

Don't feel too bad for those two axed producers. I'm sure they'll be back later in the season with even better powers.
