I can't understand why people are saying that she "owned" Biden. I've heard that Biden thwomped her, but Palin supporters insist that she beat him.

Frankly, she didn't say anything TOO stupid. But that winking to the camera was ridiculous. If you need to resort to cutesy tactics, GTFO.

I don't understand how people can support her. She dodges questions and repeats talking points for different questions. And that maverick thing. Does she even understand what a maverick IS? It's defined as "an outside, a loner." So you want an outsider for VP? No thank you.

Seriously, if she winked at me one more time she was going to have to buy me dinner!

And yes, if she had made armpit noises the entire way through the debate, the Republican base would've declared her the clear winner.

The truth is, she didn't win because she didn't actually debate. She didn't even attempt to answer the questions, ignored the moderator, and often didn't make sense.

Kudos to SNL for hitting the nail on the head, though! They caught the most annoying parts about Biden's performance, as well as all of Palin's disgracegful flirting and pandering!

Her couple of winks wasn't as bad as cheeseball Biden's dopey shit eating grin, tacky veneers on full display(complimented by his $25,000 worth of hair plugs.) or Bill Clinton's infamous dramtic lip biting(he feels your pain!)or Obama speaking in a phoney Southern accent to appear more folksy. Obama ain't from the South. He's from Hawaii for christ's sake but he speaks in a stupid fake southern accent all the time to appeal to the crowds.

The sketch isn't funny because the joke is already old and, to quote Homie, 'it's funny cause it's true' applies in the reverse. Palin performed extremely well in the debate so portraying her as a dolt ain't funny. And, Georgia, what do you think politicians do? They memorize talking points. That's what they do. Or in Biden's case, badly memorize false talking points. Biden told at least 10 flat out lies. And, not little ones-big ones. He literally made up that whole bit about the US and France driving Hezbollah from Lebanon. That whopper won the WTF prize of the night. Biden might as well have been saying that the US and Santa Claus drove the Eastern bunny from Lebanon-it's about as close to reality as the nonsense Biden blurted out.

Back to Palin..this is a woman who has never debated before a crowd bigger than a few hundred a couple of times in Alaska yet she held her own and went toe to toe with the allegedly great debater Biden who has been doing this for over 30 years. Oh, and ps, for god's sake get a dictionary..maverick means...'a dissenter, as an intellectual, an artist, or a politician, who takes an independent stand apart from his or her associates.'

Biden didn't attempt to answer them either. He simply filled his 2 min. with complete and utter bs and blather. And, as I stated above, Biden won the WTF award with the Lebanon nonsense..talk about not making sense.
