So here's the update: Jerry Lewis is sorry! Did you think he wouldn't be? Please. It's so obvious that he would say sorry, people! A man who runs telethons for Muscular Dystrophy raising millions upon millions of dollars making gay slurs??? It just doesn't fit.
Jerry Lewis made a big public apology on CNN, and I truly believe that he's sorry. He said he was making a "joking" comment to a member of his production team, and he apologizes to anyone who was offended and that he made a bad choice of words.
I would say that again Jerry, BAD, choice. YOU'RE BAD JERRY, BAD! Now finish your dinner, you're going to eat all of it, and you're going to like it. Then, when you're done, you have to go to your room and think about what you've done. Don't come out until your sorry.
I don't think he used his slur in a mean spirited or spiteful way the way Michael Richards did. Also, the fact that he apologized right away and said he's taking complete responsibility is great. He said it, he said sorry, and hopefully it won't happen again. Now, go back to drinking your Ensure fiber shakes, eating your blended bananas and raising money. Oh yeah, and quit being such a idiot.

Let's hope this is the last we hear of it..... sometimes these things just go too far in the media. Maybe if they focused on more important things like our President asking for a BILLION more dollars for the Iraq War instead of a decent man trying to raise money for a noble cause. This is getting obsurd.
