His career change is all for a dumb movie that he's calling an "art project." One of Joaquin's friends spilled to Entertainment Weekly, "It's an art project for him...He's going full out. He probably has told his reps that he's quit acting. Joaquin is very smart. This is very conscious. He has a huge degree of control."

Some advice to Joaquin: if you're doing an "art" project and you're not telling your reps, make sure to tell your friends to keep their mouths shut too. You know it's too bad that he didn't REALLY lose it, I was kind of looking forward to following a new trainwreck. Lame.
