For those of you who saw the Emmy Awards, it was just another awards show. I do have to admit the thousand awards that were given out tonight balance out the 6 awards given at the MTV VMAs. If the two award shows would have combined, we would have had a happy medium. Nonetheless.
So, for those of you who did see the show, you would have seen the hilarious Rainn Wilson vs. Kanye West rap competition. Wayne Brady had the two of them come up on stage and have a "rap-off" to Kanye's "Stronger" a la Don't Forget The Lyrics style. Of course Rainn Wilson won because Kanye was playing up his obnoxious, "I never win" sham. To be honest with you, it was pretty funny.
Anyway, my friend that was at the Justin Timberlake concert texted me that Kanye had just shown up to sing "Stronger" with Justin. Must have been a busy night for Kanye and his giant head. First, the Emmy Awards, then the Justin Timberlake concert, and onward to after parties. He should celebrate his success because his album "Graduation" just came in at #1 in the U.K. Too bad he never wins awards.

All in all, it was a typical night, but good. I was happy but not surprised about The Sopranos winning, and of course super excited about The Office.
