Ben Silverman has made a statement that Knight Rider will not make the same mistakes that Bionic Woman made. He blamed the failure of Bionic Woman on the network rushing to get the show out and it "sputtering out creatively."

He thinks Knight Rider will ride the wave of the successful pilot and that it will be a great sequel to the 1980's series. It will certainly be a nice sequel to those who were alive during the original series...let's hope.

"What we're doing with Knight Rider is we consciously delivered it on air [in February] so that we had nine months to make sure that series is great."
