Lauren Conrad's book L.A. Candy could be turning into a movie soon. Lauren told the NY Daily News, "I'm working on [adapting the book for the movies] right now, but I don't want to commit to anything until I see all my options. We have had a lot of exciting news in that respect, though."
Sounds exciting, and I suppose she'll be playing herself too? Man, that little girl knows how to work it. Flake on her own reality show, get out while she was ahead, write a book, and then star in her own movie. Pretty amazing.

Actually, Lauren has stated more than once that she has no desire to act, so I don't think she will be.
Good for her. I've always liked her. She's kind of young and naive sometimes, but she's got her life the most in order of The Hills cast, I think (except perhaps Whitney).
