Fox is doing a new reality series called Someone's Gotta Go, where employees at a small company get to decide who gets fired. This is genius!!! The show will line up companies that aren't doing financially well and put the job fate of one employee into the hands of the company. Here's the twist, the boss doesn't get to decided who gets fired, instead, the boss gives out all of the available information on each employee (to one another) from salaries to job evaluations and then it's basically survival, or just plain luck.
Oh the drama! I can't wait. No one is safe, and true colors will be shown. Nice work Mike Darnell.

Good lord...this is one step away from that Monster ad that looked like b-roll from Lord of the Flies.

In a time when most firms have had layoffs or about to have layoffs or have had more than one round of layoffs - that sounds like a really heartless idea for a show.

Don't get me wrong - I love reality tv and will watch most different types. But this is one that just turns my stomach. In an economy where you don't know what the fired people will do to get by -it's just TOO real for me.
