CBS is in talks to renew Letterman's contract past 2010. He already makes over $30 million a year, and I'm sure his asking price will go up so he can retire with a bang. I'm all for it, I love Letterman, but who will I watch now that Conan is in his time slot? And how many damn talk shows will we have?
Late Night List:
-Leno at 10
-Letterman and Conan at 11:35
-Kimmel at 12:05 (unless they move his time slot)
-Jimmy Fallon at 12:35
-Craig Ferguson at 12:35
-Carson - will he still be on? or canceled?
-Talk Show with Spike Feresten on Saturdays (unless Fox decides to go daily depending on how he does during his new time run)
-Chelsea at 11PM
-And of course let's not forget about The Daily Show or The Colbert Report
Am I missing anyone? I'm on late night talk show sensory overload. I think my list (and it may change) will start with The Daily Show, then a flip through between Letterman/Conan mixed with some Kimmel, then sleep timer on Craig...oh and of course Spike on DVR because I love him and will sit through the whole show and pay attention.
Who will you watch?

The only one worth watching is Craig Ferguson.

pink is the new black, while Craig is the new Conan. ;-) I love Craig too! He's the last man I look at before I go to bed every night.

Craig harkens back to the way Johnny Carson used to run his show. He's gently self-depracating, always tries to make the guest look good and be the focus (instead of stealing focus like Conan, David L., and Jay,) and he isn't afraid to have authors, producers, and other less common guests.
And I loved his tribute episode to his mother after she passed away. One of the most moving shows ever...and very unexpected.

I have a mad crush on Craig Ferguson.
You couldn't pay me to watch Leno - and now I just see him as the beast chewing up a time slot every night on NBC. I guess the upside is that it frees up space on my DVR.
I'll be interested in Jimmy Fallon's show too.
