Madonna and Guy Ritchie are getting divorced after almost eight years of marriage. They made an official joint statement yesterday and have asked the media to "maintain respect for their family at this difficult time."

Here's the kicker, they didn't sign a pre-nup and Madonna is worth almost $500 million while Guy is worth only $35 million.

Guess who Madonna's lawyer is? Fiona Shackleton, PauI McCartney's divorce lawyer...but I don't see this getting ugly like the Paul McCartney/Heather Mills case...as Guy's not an "alleged" money hungry donkey like Heather. Time will tell...
