SNL should have just let Ashlee Simpson have her second chance last night (replacing Janet), because Mariah's performance was no less than a train wreck. Check It Out:

What was the problem? Yes, it was a lousy song. And she did seem a little lip-synch-y there in the last 30 seconds or so. But a train wreck on the order of Ashlee Simpson? No, it was more like "just another lousy musical performance on SNL." They're never good.

Yeah, crap song but far from a train wreck like the Simpson affairs to date. I feel tricked into watching a subpar performance waiting for her to start peeing on the stage or something. Now I just feel like my soul has been peed on.

Oh come on, it wasn't THAT bad.

Memetelholic, I was just being dramatic. I have to admit that Mariah Carey has always driven me a little crazy in a bad way, that's all. So any chance I get...

Hard to believe there was a time when I used to love Mariah's voice/music. Bringing T-pain on the stage with her is just a travesty. Does she know that she's almost 40?
