Perhaps her therapy can start by teaching her how to chew, swallow...then actually keep down a sandwich.

I wasn't being nasty. I was being honest. Mischa's problem is, in part, that she is clearly anorexic. Either that or her problem is manifesting as anorexia. Either way, the body and the brain cannot function normally if they are deprived of noutrition...and she is undernourished.

She didn't check herself inot the psych ward. She was placed there because of her erratic behavior. Anorexics, when they have been that way for years, often display bizarre behavior...because a brain, when starved for long enough, begins to deteriorate.

Teach her to eat. Teach her to be healthy. Address what is at the root of her trying to starve herself. Her demeanor and ability to function will improve dramatically.
