Mischa Barton has been approached by Gossip Girl to come work. They want her to play Georgina Sparks, a scheme queen who brings Serena's past to her present. There is no word if she's going to do it yet. I can see the old "O.C." Mischa going to Gossip Girl, but she's a bit too soiled for my liking these days. Then again, maybe this will be a good thing for her as she gets out of rehab. I Wonder if her squeaky clean shoe company endorsement, Keds, knew what they were getting into endorsing her. The shower cap hospital shoe cover company would have been a better fit. Poor Mischa.

I gotta say, when I first saw this story I had a mini-heart attack. My friends and I celebrated when Mischa was killed off on the O.C., and to see her resurrected (albeit with a different name) on GG would be awful! Maybe it's because she's evidently stoned all the time, but girlfriend cannot act.
But the good news is that according to US Weekly, Mischa's dumb ass turned the part down! Phew, all is right once again in the world.
Although there's something to be said about the image of Blair slapping Mischa around a little bit... maybe she can guest star, just for that?
