My Name Is Earl will not live on. NBC canceled it, and then TBS was going to pick it up, but that's no longer the case. I have to admit, I liked the show's first season, but I stopped following it because it was the same thing over and over again. As funny as it was (for a network sitcom), I was over it...and looks like so was everyone else.
R.I.P. Earl.

I watched this show from the pilot to what I now know was the end. I have to give it credit for being about as weird as a network sitcom could be, with some great performances. It did go downhill and probably wasn't going to get much better. The show was best when it stuck to Earl and his list, as opposed to the weird plotlines where he did time in jail and his imaginary life while he was in a coma that seemed to go on forever. I will remember this show fondly and hope they did enough episodes for it to make it into syndication so I can catch a rerun once in a while.
