New Authentication announcement

Hey guys, We all know about the Type Key issue that has been plaguing tvgasm for the better part of a year and I am happy to announce that we will no longer be using typekey for authentication purposes in relation to posting comments on tvgasm.com.

We've been reading your complaints for months and we've been more than patient with typekey tech support getting back to us, but we became tired of waiting and going through endless loops of email volleyball.

As a result, we (meaning kronus) took a look at other technologies and found what seems to be a good alternative. It is a graphic key verification system, to keep non-humans out of the posting business :-) In turn, this should also reduce our spam. Whehew! We are trying to figure out a few final things before putting it up, but over the weekend there will likely be some changes to the login and we just want you to be aware.

If you see any glitches in the system, then feel free to email us at staff@tvgasm.com Be sure to let all of your friends, who have became weary of the log in to HELL process, that we are almost fixed!

Again sorry its taken so long, but we think we have the cure.
Well make the changes over the next few days.

Try it out. Go to any comment area and try to post a comment. Of course, you'll have to be registered with our Forums section and you'll be required to login, followed by re-typing a graphical key image before posting, to ensure that you're not a spam robot :-)

It is a lot easier than typekey, more reliable and controlled by us -- ENJOY -- Kronus
