No deal for Letterman it is. Everyone thought he was going to be returning with writers on January 2nd, including him. However, they were not able to reach an agreement this past Friday. So now, their January 2nd returrn is up in the air for now. Personally, I think they're playing hardball and will be back, but then again, this is all just a big game of chicken isn't it?
