I was so disappointed in January Jones hosting skills this past Saturday on SNL. I love her on Mad Men, but my GOD was she bad on SNL. Between January's HORRIBLE hosting and the Black Eyed Peas not looking too excited to be on stage, I don't know what was worse?
January looked like a first time actress reading cue cards, and the Peas looked like they were just going through the motions---ugh--it all makes me want to puke.
Usually when SNL has bad hosts, they're able to redeem the show with the "funny"...problem is that SNL ISN'T even close to funny anymore. The best thing they had on was Kristen Wiig doing Kathy Lee on The Today Show--but the Peas ruined that whole sketch.
I know I'm being harsh, but YES...that's how I really feel.

Ugh, see, THIS is why I don't watch SNL any more. If they don't have some lame, non-actor person hosting, then I end up hating some person I really like because they/the episode just weren't funny.
I adore January Jones. There are moments on Mad Men when I am in awe of how raw she gets. Betty is literally the only woman character on that show is isn't afraid to show emotion, and Ms. Jones really steps up to the plate on many occasions. So, I'm glad I didn't end up watching the episode, because it sounds really disappointing. Although, I'm intrigued by the "Rear Window" sketch.
