The 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing will not only air on NBC, USA, MSNBC, CNBC, USA HD, Universal HD, Telemundo, but also Oxygen too. Oxygen will get 2 hours/night of gymnastics, women's tennis, synchronized swimming and equestrian competitions for 10 days from August 11th through August 22nd. Oxygen got the Olympics as part of NBC Universal acquiring them. Lauren Zalaznick, president of Bravo and Oxygen said, "We'll cover the emotion and drama of stories (of the athletes) as they're happening." What she really meant to say was, "we'll be covering the emotion and drama of all female athletes on the same monthly cycle."
