First item on the list...Rosie O'Donnell may get her own weekly primetime variety show on NBC (sans Fran Drescher, I think?). It's all hear-say right now, but a variety show may her next step if Leno doesn't get the rumored gig.
Second...Elizabeth Berkley and MTV are developing an unscripted show that is based on Elizabeth Berkley's self-esteem workshops for teen girls, Ask-Elizabeth. Amy Bailey, the vice president of the MTV News & Docs division said, "She does these workshops around the country with teen girls and gets them to really open up about their issues, like self-esteem and body issues..."
I wonder if Elizabeth actually pauses on each scene of Showgirls during her workshops telling the "students" her scene motivation. "Right here kids...where I'm licking the pole, I close my eyes and think...Lizzy, you're making the pole look fat."
