First of all, I can't believe the Giants won! What an amazing game. The Giants just had a better defense and got in Tom Brady's head, never letting him get his rhythm...blah blah blah, football blah blah blah.
Onward to the commercials. Now that there is no more Bud Bowl (Budweiser vs. Bud Light) for the king of beers and bad CG (super cheesy I know, but a classic), I had the Justin Timberlake commercial to look forward to. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed. I think they tried way too hard with the slap stick, and were clearly reaching. I do love Justin Timberlake, but I expected more after he did "Dick in A Box." The best part of that ad was seeing Andy Samberg as a tranny, and Justin getting "mailbox rammed" a couple times. But, for J.T., they could have done better. Here is the ad in case you didn't get to see it:

That one was pretty good, but the Fedex one with the pigeons was killer. I like that they basically wink and admit that what you are about to see is childish and immature so you can sit back and enjoy it for what it is.
FYI, the bar JT is sitting in with his buddies in the opening scene, "Southern Hospitality", is a BBQ joint JT is part owner of on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Thanks Jason! ;-) I did like the FedEx one. I was overly ambitious and was going to do a run down of the ads last night, but then, my hangover hit in from my day time drinking, and I could only bring myself to write about JT. ;-)
Have you been to Southern Hospitality yet? Nice call on that one.

Haven't been there yet. The reviews have been mixed, but I'm sure I'll eventually get over there for some fried goodness pretty soon. Apparently you have a decent shot of seeing celebs there.

I, too, was a bit disappointed with the JT offering.

Justin's Pepsi commercial was the equivelant of the entire 4th quarter.
