The three-month old New York Reality TV School that helps people become reality stars and get on their favorite shows may become a reality phenomenon itself. Business wise it's a very smart idea, but in reality it's pathetic. The New York Reality TV School is in talks with Merv Griffin's company to develop a reality series around the school.
I know I'm going to sound horrible for saying this, but I actually think this sounds like an interesting idea and I would totally watch. I don't think there is anything funnier or more pathetic than watching a reality star "in-training." I love that people pay money to learn how to be trainwrecks. I guess the philosophy of the school is to "let your story live right on the surface" and "thou shalt never say 'I am an actor."
I wonder if Suede from Project Runway was a student?? Here's a link to the school, I thought you might get a kick out of it.

Ha! This is seriously ridiculous.
And when I say ridiculous I mean "ludicrous but I will still watch it and laugh" kind of way.
What will they think of next?
