Harvey Korman, best know for his antics on The Carol Burnett Show, passed away yesterday at UCLA Medical Center of complications from an abdominal aortic aneurysm that ruptured four months ago. He was 81 years-old.
Mel Brooks commented, "a major, major talent, and he could have very easily have done Shakespearean drama. That's how gifted and talented Harvey was. . . . I loved working with him."
R.I.P. Harvey

Oh, this guy was sooooo funny. I don't remember him from the Carol Burnett Show, but he is one of the many comic luminaries in Blazing Saddles -- still side-splitting hilarious to this day.
Hedley Lamarr: "My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives."
Taggart: "God darnit, Mr. Lamarr, you use your tongue prettier than a twenty dollar whore."
