Russell Brand is joining the ranks of Jack Black, Sean "Diddy" combs, and Chris Rock to host the MTV Video Music Awards. Finally we get some fresh meat in here! I'm sure the Brits are rolling their eyes saying, he's been around forever, but guess what?? We get to share him now! I loved him in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, love his stand-up and can't wait to see more of him. The VMAs are airing live form the Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on September 7th. You can still vote for this year's nominees at vma.mtv.com

Russells great! :D :D :D If you've never seen him try finding his Big Brothers Big Mouth hostings. He left last year for other stuff.

Cool! We saw Brand on Leno and he was a scream, then we saw him in Forgetting Sarah Marshall (where he apparently modelled his perf on a certain Gallagher brother) and then he was on Leno again!
