Star Jones got the ax from truTV (the old Court TV) for her show, the Star Jones Show. The network said that she will still serve as a contributing legal expert, but for now her show will get a fat ax. I wonder if some of her "wisdom" was lost with her weight? Similar to how Richard Pryor wasn't as funny when he got off the drugs. Star Jones: not as witty and "wise" without the weight.
