The 18-year marriage between Gretchen and Danny Bonaduce is officially over. Danny is going to have to fork over $16,000 a month to Gretchen for spousal and child support and the two are going to retain joint custody of their children.
Hopefully Gretchen can move on and find someone that will treat her right after all this.

Oh please!! Gretchen just won "Gimme My Own Reality Show" on RealTV. They are letting her produce a show about her life without Danny, but she is hoping he 'drops by' frequently for the ratings. One of the challenges for the show was to create "your own publicity". She went walking around the paparazzi hot spots with a 'new' boyfriend and Danny was suppose to see them together and create a scene! Danny was a no-show & ruined her idea. That's just what she wants for her new show. She would be boring without him and she knows it.

NOoooo! I didn't know she won! I know Gretchen from events, and she's really nice, but I was voting for Kato on that one. His show was kind of funny. Damn.
oh well!
thanks for the update chooch!

Kato was the first to be eliminated and was extremely upset that he was first to go. He walked off the set, claiming he worked to hard to be sent packing.... & it didn't seem staged either. He did come back to congratulate Gretchen at the end tho. I expected Traci to win because of her 'assets' being perfect for reality TV.

I wish I would have watched. I don't doubt that Kato was upset, he works with us at Lampoon sometimes and he was so excited about it. He really thought he'd win! poor kato. I didn't even watch Traci's reel online. I was just following it through what Kato told me and clicked on his reel to vote online.
Who did you want to win?

I wasn't really fond of any of their premises, but I thought Kato had a good idea, it just wasn't honed enough to make it feasible, IMO. I thought Gretchen was on the right path too, but I have to admit, I'd watch if Danny were in it too. I liked their show, even tho it got too real for TV.

yeah their show was pretty amazing. I was glued to it when it was on. it was SO real that it made me sad for Gretchen and their life. Like when he went that day and pounded the vodka like it was a beer, ugh

I remember, when I was younger, I used to watch that show on TLC - A Baby Story.
And I remember very vividly the one that featured the Bonaduces - it was the birth of their son.
Their son's legal name is Count Valentin (or Valentino) and their daughter is Countess Isabella.
Anybody with a complex like that is bound to have problems...

holy shit. Danny Bonaduce can afford to fork over 16K a month? I seriously need to rethink my career path.
:(

I think Gretchen taking a few hours to pay to agree to marry Danny didn't set her up for a great marriage. I don't think she can complain to much about what she had to go through because at some level she enabled it. I feel bad she will benefit or profit from being the wife of a celebrity. Kato, he has never had a fair shot at what he has wanted because of the OJ taint.
