I don't know if you watched the season premiere of The Office last week, but the scale they were standing on was real. The production actually called the Rice Lake Weighing Systems company and had a custom made scale for that episode. So they really did weigh over 2,000 lbs even without Pam.

And, can I just comment on how funny the rap was. I was very pleased with the season premiere.
