Nobody wants me
The Emmys were originally supposed air on September 20th, but then CBS rescheduled the show to September 13 to avoid any NFL game conflicts...
CUT TO yesterday: The Emmys got rescheduled back to September 20th to avoid conflict with the MTV Music Awards....So basically the VMAs trump the Emmys, and now the Emmys are just going to have to deal with following the Sunday football schedule on September 20th.
I feel like the poor Emmys have become the red-headed step-child that keeps getting tossed back and forth between two divorced parents.

The Emmys are completely irrelevant to most TV viewers. They don't nominate the most deserving, just the same people and shows year in and year out. And half the time, they're shows very few people watch, so why would anybody be interested in the awards?
