I didn't even know it was a show before it got cancelled. I am pretty in tune to shows that I watch and those that I don't watch, but I didn't even know that Viva Laughlin existed. CBS, you should have promo'd the show better so I could have at least had the choice to hate the show. The show was supposed to be a song and dance drama about a guy who tries to start a casino in Laughlin, Nevada. I guess it doesn't matter anymore.
Before I go, I have one thing to say, Viva Laughlin? Really? I don't know if any Gasmiis have ever been to Laughlin, but it's great place to get sloppy drunk and watch old people play nickel slots. Not really my cup of Earl Grey. Getting drunk, YES. Nickel slots, I'd rather take a bath with my hair dryer. Viva Cancellation.

Well, I heard about Viva Laughlin back in August and was seriously looking forward to it. The website said it was going to be, like, a musical show. I love musicals and thought it was about damn time. However, the only music it had was other peoples' songs, with the actors singing on top of that. Not lip-synching, but not karaoke, either. Lame.
Yeah, I don't know. There were some things I did like about it, but I'm not heartbroken. Thanks for the head's up. I'll just find a new show!

This is why I hate to begin watching new shows, they cancel them without giving them a chance. I loved Smith (Ray Loitta), and was so pissed when they cancelled it.I didn't watch Viva Laughlin because it was on at the same time as ER, but I was interested that Melanie Griffith was in it.

That's how little they promo'd the show that I didn't even know that Melanie Griffith was on it! I totally would have watched it had I known that. Such a bummer. They let crappy shows live for so long, and kill new shows. One day, when I'm president television will prevail, until then I'll just sit here and complain ;-)
