William Shatner nearly "s#at" himself when he was not asked to be in the new Star Trek movie that Winona Ryder will be appearing in as Spock's mother.
He told Extra TV, "How could you not put one of the founding figures into a movie that was being resurrected? That doesn't make good business sense to me!"
The kicker to this is that the other actors from the original Star Trek will be in the film, but they didn't ask William Shatner. The film already has some big stars, and has now gotten the publicity for Shatner's absence, I'm sure that's enough for them. I'm not a Star Trek fan, so it doesn't affect me too much, but what do you think Gasmii? Should Shatner be in the film?? I say he should walk on as an extra and make some noise.

I've never liked Shatner, always too full of himself, so it makes no bloody difference if he's in it for me. Plus, he's almost 77 years old; how would that work? A walk-on as a completely different character than the one he's known for playing would be absurd.
