Oh yes, good ol' five finger discount Ryder has been cast to play the human mother to the half-vulcan Spock on the new Star Trek Movie. Star Trek will be shooting later this month with Chris Pine, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Simon Pegg and Anton Yelchin. I'm not a huge Star Trek fan, but I must admit that I do enjoy the documentary, Trekkies.
