Today the XM/Sirius merger was finalized! The new name will be Sirius XM Radio and they're going to be kicking off their first day with 18.5 million subscribers. The greatest part about the merger is that you can pick and choose what channels and tiers you want a la carte similar to cable television and the subscription price will be lowered to $6.99/month (for basic). I have no word as of when the new radio company will launch, but at least the deal is done!
