And after the stir caused by her stunt programming, heterosex-having guest spot on Nip/Tuck last season, the show's producers are throwing even more offers her way.
Her Dawn Budge character will be back for Season 5 for "several episodes," beginning with episode 4. But there's more. Something bigger than Rosie, even:
Creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy told our fellow hacks at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour that they're thinking of starring Rosie in a Nip/Tuck spinoff.
"The character was so instantly popular. We've spoken about (a spinoff); it's an ongoing discussion."
So what is it?

From back in the day of our mutually bad haircuts through the time of our personal identity struggles and sliding into our sometimes "out there" political ramblings Rosie and I have been there for each other. She's not a classicly trained actress but has managed to carry a role or two well as have I. We've just grown together. Now she seems to enjoy my favorite sport of pissing of political right wings and I applaud her. People who really listen to her realize that shes not the hate mongul shes portrayed as on FOX News. She's one radical left wing lesbian that this sometimes radical moderate gay man would like to sit in a sports bar with and throw down a few brews with talkin bout the old times in this country when questioning authority was allowed, encouraged and expected. Rock on sist'r Rosie!!

And you are, obviously, a close personal friend of Rosie O'Donnell, since otherwise how would you know how she acts to those when not in the spotlight.
I like Rosie. I'm not a fan-fan, but she's hilarious, controversial and who really damn cares about the right wing politians anyway?
