What happened to the All-American female TV action star?
First, Fox hands the ass-kicking Sarah Connor role in its new Terminator series to tattooed British thesp Lena Headey.
And now, NBC has settled on a Brit to play The Bionic Woman.
And after an "exhaustive search," they've picked Michelle Ryan, best known for her work on the long-running soap, EastEnders.
At 22, Michelle's a young one, but she's been a fixture on the British telly since the age of 15.
NBC announced in October that it was planning a "radical reconceptualization" of the Seventies series, which starred Lindsay Wagner as the beauty who's underghone the ultimate makeover: amplified hearing, a strong right arm and legs that enabled her to run faster than a speeding car.
Though Bionic has been kicking around for some time, it's not a done deal. Right now, the show's going to pilot.

Well it's obvious she has two parts that have been replaced/improved using the latest in medical technology.
