Tim Gunn is definitely back on Runway

timbobble.jpgtimgunn.jpgProject Runway is officially back on track with the announcement that Tim Gunn will return for the fourth season.

The word comes from Bravo and The Weinstein Company, which produces the show, complete with a quote from grizzly Harvey Weinstein that sounds more like it came from Top Design's Jonathan Adler:

"We could not be more excited that Tim is back to mentor and inspire this seasons crop of aspiring designers. His passion, creativity and dedication to the contestants and the world of fashion have helped make the show such a commercial and critical success."

And in a quote conjured up for the press release, Tim adds: "I am thrilled to make it official that I will be back in the workroom for season four of Project Runway. We're in the midst of casting the designers now and I can already see that it will be another amazing season."

Not long ago... Tim's return was a question...

Taping of the next season was expected to interfere with Tim's schedule as a department chairman at the Parsons design school. After Tim mentioned that the school-- not the hit series-- was where he made his living, Bravo gave him his own showm, Tim Gunn's Guide To Style, the money talks continued, and in February, Tim quit Parsons after 22 years.

Host Heidi Klum and fellow Judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia (who gave birth two Saturdays ago) are already back on board.

Casting for the series continues today in Miami.
