Ratings-Tm-3-56 Sorry it's taken so long to upload this, but Madeyoulaugh had asked me to make some processes automated and that was easier said than done. If you notice the "minibuzzgasm" top header area should look exactly same in every major section now. It is also automated and you should not have to wait for someone to make updates for the newest stories to post but I'm still working on the pictures to update automatically. NBC comes in first with Heroes having 6.3/15. Not far behind in second was ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and "The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman" tied, having 5.6/15. And in third place,FOX’s 24 having 3.9/10.

My Two Cents:

Let me know if the top "minibuzzgasm" header looks different anywhere and I'll try to correct the issue. This is such a huge site, that I do not know how it will function in any of the archived sections or the subsections within the major sections. I will update each section as someone requests it to be done -- kronus@tvgasm.com -- I work for free, so please do not complain. :-) Buzzgasm automatically updates now, but if the author does not have an image input into their teasepic field, then an image will not appear on the front page of TVgasm and I do not know if everyone will be OK with that. We'll find out from the emails and Madeyoulaugh's reaction when he returns.

For the complete ratings from last night and who won the night (in key demos), stick around after the jump. . .

How do I read these ratings?

A Nielsen rating may look like this:

8pm - NBC - TVgasm The TV Show - 10.0/18

Focus on the 10.0/18. The RATING, 10.0, on the left represents the actual number of households that watched a show. One rating point equals 1,102,000 households. The SHARE, 18, on the right represents the show's proportion of the total households watching television at that time.

For example, TVgasms TV Show has a 10 rating/18 share. That means 11,020,000 households are tuned in to the show and 18% of all the households with a TV turned on are watching that show.

Ratings and Share are customarily broken down for various DEMOs -- a demographic grouping of viewers, like 18-49 adults or 2-12 children or 18-34 women, etc. Advertisers, and therefore networks, covet the 18-49 adult demo, and so tend to concentrate on that number.
