Beckham reality series shrunk to a "special"

NBC has confirmed that Victoria Beckham's much-heralded, supposedly hilarious, superstar-studded reality series has been chopped back to a mere primetime special with a boring name in the dead of summer.

Victoria Beckham: Coming to America (didn't we see that Eddie Murphy movie?) will take up an hour of Monday night airtime (8 to 9 pm) on July 16th. It will give viewers an "exclusive look" inside the life of a plasticized celebrity no one in America gives two shits about: the former Spice Girl who's married to the effeminate, squeaky-voiced soccer player David Beckham, who, like fellow Brit Robbie Williams, is a star everywhere in the world but America.

The network announced the project as a six-episode series in February. Skinny was supposed to spend about four weeks shooting the series about her family's move to Beverly Hills (so he can play soccer in LA), but when Becks got called to play for the British national team, she went on vacation instead. Producers managed to get her for about half that time.

Every so often, some publicist thinks that we should care about British celubtards. This is the perfect example.

No one in this country gives a shit about soccer or this boney scary looking anorexic bitch. Go back to the UK Beckhams!
