Trump banks on Beauty Queens Gone Wild

Donald Trump isn't waiting for his Trump's Tramps series on Fox to get back into the reality television business after the crapulous LA turn of The Apprentice and his ignominious split with NBC. He's now hooked up with MTV for Reality Place, a reality series that mixes The Apprentice and The Real World with the winners of his beauty pageants.

The first season of "Pageant Place" will follow current Miss Universe Riyo Mori, Miss USA Rachel Smith and Miss Teen USA Katie Blair as they live in the same New York City apartment-- and hopefully generate sparks, girl-on-girl action and good television!

And to make sure of it, last year's Miss USA Tara Conner-- the one who almost lost her crown amid reports of boozing, drugging and partying-- will be their chaperone!

But where does Rosie O'Donnell fit in?

Sez Donald: "We'd been thinking about everything that happens backstage and how women like Tara captured the imagination of so many of us, including a slob named Rosie O'Donnell, who didn't like that I gave Tara a second chance. And we thought, Wouldn't it be great if we let the cameras roll?"

Oh.

The show goes into production and should be on MTV by the end of the year.

And by the way, the three Trump pageant winners always live together in the same apartment during their yearlong reigns, anyway. You've got to figure Trump's got cameras rolling there already!
