Jerry Seinfeld to appear on 30 Rock

Jerry Seinfeld is returning to NBC situation comedy. He'll pay himself in the miraculous, almost-didn't-get-there second-season premiere of 30 Rock.

Michael Richards finds a guru-vy place to hide

So whatever happened to Michael Richards?

Seinfeld's Cosmo Kramer, who became an instant pariah after a racist tirade from the stage of a comedy club was captured on cellphone video, has been in Cambodia with a group that follows the teachings of a 29-year-old Hindu mystic called "Swami G."

Seriously.

Richards says he's been attending Nithyananda Foundation meetings since about three months after his career ended, but insists "I'm not a part of the group. I'm not a devotee. I don't wear club jackets, but I honor all the clubs. Life is not always about us or making people laugh. I'm trying to understand the humanity that I am, that I belong to. So, in that sense, I'm part of a group: humanity."

He also says he's quit stand-up comedy. Now that's funny.

Seinfeld: The Lost Episode

Is anyone out there old enough to remember when National Lampoon was the influential humour magazine-- bigger than The Daily Show, more influential than Dave Chappelle-- when it was the hippest, funniest, most important laugh factory since Mad? Here's a clue: it back before Animal House. But after all these years and the Vacation and Van Wilder movies, the Lampoon is back, and they're online with the best take yet on the Michael Richards racist rant. It's actually funnier than Richards' meltdown itself!
