Fiji Survivors end up in New York

survivorfiji.jpg

Reality TV king Mark Burnett got a two-fer this season, using a "Haves and Have-Nots" twist on both Survivor: Fiji on CBS and NBC's The Apprentice: LA. Apprentice already had the winning team living in a mansion and losers in backyard tents when Survivor broke the mold by giving the winning tribe comfy digs and hearty food, while the losers roughed it-- as if they were on Survivor or something.

Donald Trump closed the tent city and moved everyone inside on last night's Apprentice. Judging by the color of the bandannas and buffs in the promos, the Survivor merge takes place this week-- but where will the survivors end up?

Ultimately... Trump's home turf, New York City.

The Fiji castaways are heading to New York and taking over an entire night of CBS prime time for the show's finale on May 13th.

A two-hour finale begins at 8 pm, and brings the 19 original contestants together for the first time since they landed in Fiji. It will include a recap and a live reveal of the winner in the second hour. The live reunion show follows at 10.

Where's the story here? They do a 3-hour final EVERY season, and it's sometimes in NYC (and sometimes in LA). Is this cut-and-paste journalism from a press release?
