Do we care about the Rosie-Trump feud?

Earlier this week, it seemed Donald Trump had gotten Rosie O'Donnell's goat in their schoolyard feud, embarrassing her co-star Barbara Walters and sparking a shouting match backstage of The View. He renewed the attack yesterday, and this morning, Rosie and Barbara double-teamed Trump again (above)-- but curiously, and in the interest of deniability, neither spoke his name.

Hey, we'd warned Trump about the backlash, and his trash-talking didn't help Sunday night's ratings for The Apprentice. But does the feud that Rosie started last year, and the possibility that Barbara Walters did indeed tell Trump: "Don't worry, she won't be here for long" and "Donald, never get in the mud with pigs" mean that Rosie may soon lose her new morning bully pulpit?

Somebody thinks so...

rogerfriedman.jpgRoger Friedman over at Fox.com (right) is reporting that Rosie will probably leave The View when contract runs out in June, after all-- or she won't-- or Walters will be "retired"-- or not-- now, considering this comes from the guy who told us that Studio 60 on The Sunset Strip was cancelled, that's what we call "covering your--" uh... "bases."
