Tammy Knickerbocker is replacing "trophy wife" Kimberly Bryant, who's moved to Chicago after her husband was arrested over the summer for allegedly punching out her (female) fitness trainer. Tammy might be called the "Felicity Huffman" of the gated community. Bravo describes her as "understated." We read "not so hot." But she does bring a nice, low-rent crystal meth buzz to the whole operation-- thanks to her real O.C. kids...
According to Bravo, Tammy (left) "used to live in one of the biggest house in the gated community, but that was before she and her husband, Lou, lost their fortune..." We guess she lost Lou, too, because now she's single, working as a loan officer and renting-- with two daughters (17 and 20) and-- whoops-- a four-year-old son "from another relationship."
Tammy's 20-year-old Megan adds the tweak. She's rebelled against the O.C. lifestyle by moving to the working class Inland Empire region (from which David Lynch's new film took its name, with a boyfriend who raises pit bulls. But there's an O.C. twist: Megan may be a rebel, but "she talks about her breast implants and contemplates a nose job."
The docusoap returns January 16th at 10pm. And why throw away all those outtakes? Bravo's using the leftovers to cobble together an Internet series focused on the Real Housewives' kids. Nine webisodes called The Real Kids of Orange County will run on the Bravo website, showing up every Tuesday night, following the broadcast.
