Barbara Walters got Paris on the phone from jail yesterday and talks about the conversation on The View this morning. According to Barbara (and her producer/stenographers-- you don't think she actually takes notes), Paris told her: "I'm hanging in there."
And she said: "I know now that I can make a difference."
And she said: "I used to act dumb. It was an act."
And, move over Michael Lohan. She added: "God has released me."
WTF??!! It's been a week!
According to Barbara, Paris went on: "I'm not the same person I was. I used to act dumb. It was an act. I am 26 years old, and that act is no longer cute. It is not who I am, nor do I want to be that person for the young girls who looked up to me. I know now that I can make a difference, that I have the power to do that. I have been thinking that I want to do different things when I am out of here. I have become much more spiritual. God has given me this new chance.
"God has released me."
Paris denied that it was her sobbing and screaming that led the Sheriff to release her early (before a judge threw her back into stir), but admitted: "I was not eating or sleeping. I was severely depressed and felt as if I was in a cage. I was not myself. It was a horrible experience."
Paris told Babs she'd like to help in the fields of breast cancer or multiple sclerosis (one grandma had the former and another has the latter). She even wants to get toy companies to build and donate toys to a Paris Hilton playhouse, where sick children might come and play away from Michael Jackson.
Paris said has a "spiritual adviser" who told her: "My spirit or soul did not like the way I was being seen and that is why I was sent to jail."
No, she's not dumb any more.

If she wants everyone to focus on other more imporant things, why is she calling Babwa to whine? Even in jail, she is a fame whore.
With her being in Jail, thought we would not have to hear about this herpes ridden ammoral filth?
I think it would of been funny, while she was out for that day, if she ran off to Cuba to have Castro protect her. Then we would never hear about her again.
