Prosecutors say they're fed up with the queen of all celebutards (and star of The Simple Life) and want her to learn a lesson after allegedly violating the terms of probation for an alcohol-related drunk reckless driving conviction.
Along with seeking to suspend her license for another four months and impounding her Bentley for a month, prosecutors also want Paris to keep off the sauce for 90 days and wear a "secure continuous remote alcohol monitoring device" on her ankle to make sure she doesn't drink any alcohol.
The SCRAM device can detect alcohol processed through sweat and triggers a warning to probation officers that a defendant has strayed. We'd never heard of it until earlier this week, when a judge ordered 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan to be fitted with one.
Here's the prosecutors' Paris timeline:
Paris pleaded no contest in January to reckless driving stemming from an arrest in Hollywood on September 7th. Police said she appeared intoxicated and failed a sobriety test. She was sentenced to 36 months probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines.
Then on January 15th, Paris was pulled over by California Highway Patrol. Officers reminded her that she was driving on a suspended license and she signed a document acknowledging that she was not to drive, according to papers filed in Superior Court.
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies stopped Paris on February 27th and charged her with violating her probation. Police said she was stopped at about 11 pm after they saw her Bentley speeding with its headlights off.
Paris' spokesman said at the time that the poor girl wasn't aware her license was suspended. But whoops, court papers say a copy of the document she'd signed on January 15th was found in the car's glove compartment.
Hilton was also required to enroll in an alcohol education program by February 12th, but prosecutors say that as of April 17th, she still hadn't enrolled.
Should Paris and her wonky eye head to jail, they'll be following in the footsteps of her great-aunt Zsa Zsa Gabor, who in 1990 got three days in jail for slapping a cop.
The court hearing is expected to commence at 1:30 p.m.
