The last nine Sundays with The Sopranos

We shouldn't go into the weekend without a reminder that The Sopranos returns Sunday night. The Easter Sunday resurrection is the first of the series' final nine episodes. And judging by the promos, if Tony doesn't get whacked by the final frame, it looks like he'll be losing someone very close before he gets there.

So as we head in, here's the 7 minute and 36 second version of the entire Sopranos saga that showed up on YouTube last week-- and stayed. It's worth spreading because an HBO spokesman said series creator David Chase watched the video by Paul Gulyas and Joe Sabia on the set of the series finale-- and laughed all the way through it.

And three cheers for The Sopranos executive producers for insisting the clip not be pulled from YouTube! Says one of them, the good Italian boy Matthew Weiner: "The guys really understand not only what happened in the show, but they displayed their knowledge with humor and love."

And in that spirit, we give you another refresher: every Sopranos whacking. In chronological order. This nine-year medley takes nine minutes and 41 seconds. It's NSFW and not for the faint of heart... and it's after the jump...

And in case you forgot, we don't answer the phone between 9 and 10 pm Sunday nights. For the next nine weeks.
