« Clipgasm: Grey Gardens is Here! | <__trans phrase="Main"> | Miss USA Winner »
Comedy Central is airing Ron White: Behavioral Problems at 9pm. Of the four from the "Blue Collar Tour", Ron is my least favorite. I think he's an asshole, but that would probably make him happy. He's this generation's version of Dean Martin, with a drink in his hand at all times. He reminds me of some of my old customers. I'd just shut 'em off & throw 'em out. With him, I can just switch the channel. Wish I could have done that at the bar. Much easier!
Now my favorites for Sunday night, starting with AMC's Breaking Bad at 10pm. I can't say it enough:"The BEST show on television." If you can't catch it on sunday nights, it airs all week long, at different times, on AMC. The world of Walt & Jesse is intense. You just never know what will happen next. That's what makes it so good, it's totally unpredictable.
Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice comes on at 9pm, right after Miss USA is crowned (Go Kentucky!). They left us last week with a cliffhanger. The teams have to auction off Ivanka Trump's line of jewerly for charity. I'm sure Joan Rivers will bitch the whole two-hours about how everyone is picking on her brilliant daughter. Oh that's right, Joan's project manager this week, maybe she'll get fired. I doubt it though, she's 'good' TV.
The Amazing Race: 14 on CBS at 8pm, goes to China. The promos have been teasing us about a melt-down with mama's boy, Luke. He gets in a shoving match with Kisha at the clue box, calling her a 'bitch'. The feud continues at another clue box. I'm still on Team Victor &Tammy. Here's hoping they come in first again!
A new episode of The Tudors is on Showtime at 9pm. Christmas is right around the corner & the King is busy making amends with both of his daughters while trying to make a boy heir. He also breaks all his promises to the Catholic leaders for quelling the revolution. I'm sure he'll have to take another wife before the season ends.
I think that's it for tonight. There is just wy too much TV on Sunday. It makes my ass twitch! Hope you all find something you like. Ratings come out on Wednesday. See you then.
love

.....one more thing....
Zombie Strippers is on SPIKETV at 10pm tonight. This is my 'movie pick' of the week.

i think the writing for Law & Order: Criminal Intent has become far more creative since it moved to US Network...and since it became less of a showcase for D'Nofrio's "brilliance and intensity" (which I have always thought was over-rated.)
I miss The Unit when it's gone (and CBS seems to pre-empt it alot,) but I might give the Hallmark movie a chance.
Oh. One more thing...I'm on Team Margie & Luke :)

The difference between Ron White and Dean Martin is that Dean had charm. I heard that a lot of his "drunkenness" was an act, but either way, he was a cute, charming drunk, not an icky redneck one.

Okay...I watched the Hallmark movie. And while the story was very moving, and Irena should be given as much praise and respect as Schindler and others who risked themselves to help (and who have received far more press)...the movie itself was a bit disconcerting.
Specifically the use of accents. If everyone on screen is supposed to be European, presumably speaking Polish, German, Yiddish, etc., but everyone is actually speaking English, WHY BOTHER WITH BAD ACCENTS? I found it distracting to listen to lines about "fadders" and "mudders." It was really unnecessary and annoying.

One more thing...did you know this incredible woman was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. But she lost...to Al Gore.
No. Justice.

I didn't get a chance to watch the Hallmark movie yet....
however, I did watch the new FOX cartoon & it really did SUCK! But I have to admit, Family Guy was funny not the dead cat part, but pot song was great.
Miss Kentucky came in 4th!
Breaking Bad was, once again, the best show of the night. Where else can you see exploding turtles!
The fight at the pit stop on AR was great.
... and you're right pixie... Ron White is no Dean Martin.
