TV Patrol: Wednesday's Weird!

Bye Bye Beautiful People!!! "The Ex-List"on CBS is a goner. Those 'perfect' bodies were rejected by us, the 'normal' folks. They should have put some of us in their show, at least as extras. Besides, a girl looking for Mr. Right from her past conquests has to be a real whore for the show to last more than 4 episodes (which is all it did) & she's gotta have some real scumbags, fat-asses, & bald guys in her portfolio for anyone to believe any of it. CBS hasn't made it official, but that's just the way networks do things now. They like to make their mistakes just fade away & hope no one notices. It will be replaced this Friday by a repeat of "NCIS". There has been other changes going on in Network World. More on that after the jump.....

Ex-List
You will be looking for work very soon....

Barack Obama has hit prime time & this time he doesn't have his bumbling sidekick, John McCain to help him out. His campaign monkeys have bought the first half hour of prime TV time to make a final stand. He will be making his sales pitch at 8pm tonight on NBC, CBS, & FOX. ABC offered him a half hour spot too, but their asking price was $1 million. Obama said "No thank you, I need that money to buy clothes". So ABC is airing a new episode of "Pushing Daisies" and it could be the best thing to ever happen to this show. It's low ratings are threatening to get it's dead-touching ass cancelled. Maybe people won't want to listen to a half-hour political commercial & will watch "The Pie Hole" instead.

NBC is doing a little dance with their schedule. November sweeps are coming and they don't have their shit together yet. They've moved "Law & Order"s premiere date in 2009, to Nov. 5th at 10pm. They've had trouble finding a good spot for "Life", shuffling it around from Monday, to Friday & now Wednesday night, sandwiched between "Knight Rider" at 8pm & "Law & Order" at 10pm. (Damn, I still have a couple of episodes on my DVR, and I haven't watched any of them & I probably won't.) "Lipstick Jungle" will been sent to the dead zone on Friday nights at 10pm after tonight. I don't watch any of these shows, so I don't really give a shit, but you might, so let's move on to happier news!!

Cloris is gone!! She's finally gonna sit in the audience instead of on the dance floor. The poor woman had to stand on that stupid stage for the whole hour, just to get the heave-ho! She could barely walk down the stairs for her final outrageous behavior. She ended up on the floor. They knew she was a goner. They could have at least given her a chair to sit on during the breaks. She continued her bizarre behavior later on "Jimmy Kimmel Live". Guillermo burned her dancing shoes, so that should be the end of it, or is it?

One more thing and then, I promise, I'll get to the schedule for tonight. House kissed Cuddy!!!! It's about frickin' time!

CBS:
"Barack Obama" at 8pm. (political)
"Old Christine" at 8:30pm. (new)
"Criminal Minds" at 9pm. (new) I watched Wil Wheaton on this show last week. He was awesome as a "Psycho" type murderer! Too bad they ran him over with a truck. Now he can't come back.
"CSI: NY" at 10pm. (new)

NBC:
"Barack Obama" at 8pm. (political)
"Deal or No Deal" at 8:30pm. (new) I'm picking case #17 for the million dollar prize.
"Lipstick Jungle" at 10pm. (new)

ABC:
"Pushing Daisies" at 8pm. (new) This is a fanciful fun show about a finger that brings dead people back to life. Watch it so it doesn't get cancelled.
"Private Practice" at 9pm. (new) My 'new' favorite show.
"Dirty Sexy Money" at 10pm. (new) The transvestite lover of Billy Baldwin has returned.

FOX:
"Barack Obama" at 8pm. (political)
"Game #5 of the World Series" at 8:30pm. Game #5 was not completed Tuesday night because of the rain. They will try to finish it tonight, if the weather permits. The game, played in increasingly heavy rain, was suspended Monday following a 30-minute delay with the Phillies and Rays tied 2-2 after 5 1/2 innings. It was the first time a World Series game that began wasn't played to completion on the same day. The Phillies are still on top at 3-1.
