Friday: A Night for Vets

"A Night for Vets: An MTV Concert for the Brave" airs tonight at 8pm. It's Beyonce's first appearance since changing her name to "Sasha Fierce"! My inner-self needs a new name too. From now on I want to be known as "Big Booty"! More info after the jump......

That was her second choice.

Can anyone remember a tribe that sucks as bad as the "Fang" tribe on "Survivor: Gabon". I've never seen such a pathetic pack of pooped-out pussies in my life. There have been many tribes who went without food for days and in spite of their deteriorating strength, still did everything they could to win the challenges. This tribe just stands around and watches while a few try to win. "I'm just gonna go over here and sit awhile. You go on and carry that 200lb snake. I'll cheer you on. You can do it baby." I hope they all starve to death.

I don't know about you guys, but I thought "CSI" was so original last night. I've never seen such an elaborate form of art & murder combined. The fact that this show focuses on the crime, sets it apart from it's other two knock-offs. I'm going to miss Grissom, but we have Elizabeth Corday from "ER" on the show now. She's a British bore so she'll probably bang Larry Fishburne.

Tonight at 8pm, MTV will air "A Night for Vets: An MTV Concert for the BRAVE," an event to mobilize support for the Bill of Rights for American Veterans (BRAVE), a petition organized by MTV and several veterans' organizations. BRAVE asks elected officials to provide veterans with better health care, mental-health treatment, job opportunities, housing assistance and compensation for serving longer due to stop-loss orders.

The concert was taped in New York on October 23 in front of an audience of young veterans and their families. It features performances by 50 Cent, Ludacris and Saving Abel, as well as taped performances by Kanye West, Kid Rock, Fall Out Boy, Angels and Airwaves, Nelly, Juanes and Taylor Swift. Also making taped appearances will be Beyonce (Sasha Fierce), Will Ferrell, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend and others. MTV's Sway will host.

OMG, I forgot all about that movie."I Saw What You Did" and I know who you are...That was a great movie! Why dont they ever show that one on late nite TV..Last weeks "Ghost Whisperer" is the one you shoulda watched..Jennifer Love went into her computer as and avatar..I was fun watching the ghost avatar kick her butt avatar-style.

cattyfan:

I agree Fang members should starve...preferably in a painful, slow manner.

The Ex-List (in its first episode) had Eric Balfour singing a punk sniog called "Bitch Left Me On My Birthday." It was hilarious...but it's been downhill ever since.

And I presume your new name is pronounced "Big booTay."

cattyfan:

that should have been "punk song."

Cherie:

I always have to watch Halloween on Halloween. That movie scared the crap out of me when I was little. Thanks Big BooTay!
