The BIG News tonight is that it's the last time to see Late Night with Conan O'Brien at 12:35am (sat), on NBC. He takes over The Tonight Show on June 1st. After 15 yrs in the wee hours, he's stepping up to the Big Time. Everyone is wonder just how much he's going to get away with at that hour. I can't see it being a problem. Anything he does will definitely be better than the crap they dole out on SNL & that airs at the 11:35 slot on Saturday. They even force it into primetime. I look forward to Conan at that hour, but as I said, tonight's his "last hurrah!" before Jimmy Fallon gets the job. (I'll probably watch Craig Ferguson more). Let's jump to the primetime crap shows for tonight after the jump..........
The major networks aren't giving us much to watch tonight. It seems that Friday is becoming more & more like Saturday. A wasteland of terrible shows & repeats. FOX seems to be the only one bringing us something to look forward to.
FOX has a new episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles at 8pm. Sarah continues to probe the town where the factory was destroyed with John & Weaver continues to look for survivors. A little FYI for you, Summer Glau, the Terminator, will meet up with the nerds from Big Bang Theory on 3/9. They notice her in a subway & fight over who will approach her. Sheldon senses she may just be a 'real terminator'.
The Dollhouse, FOX's new sci-fi tale, follows at 9pm. The basic concensus (after only 1 week) is that the show lives up to it's creator, Josh Whedon's, reputation. Some critics feel that, star Eliza Dushku, may not be able to handle the range of characters she will have to portray as Echo, the "Active", who's mind is 'wiped clean' for each mission she is sent on. IMO, she did a great job in the first episode & I enjoyed the show. I'm saying, "give the girl a chance". Tonight she becomes an expert outdoorsman to match the personality of the client who hires her. He's hoping to 'hunt' her down.
The CW has the season finale of 13: Fear is Real at 9pm. They are down to the final 3, Erica, Nasser, & Ted. Their last event is "The execution" ceremony. The winner will receive $66,666 in prize money.
ABC has a repeat Wife Swap at 8pm. SuperNanny at 9pm is new. At 10pm. Diane Sawyer does a follow-up to her report on "Hidden America: Poverty in Appalachia" on 20/20.
Howie Do It is on NBC at 8(N)& 8:30(R)pm. A new Friday Night Lights at 9pm & Dateline NBC, at 10pm, is all about murder(?) within a church congregation.
CBS is once again, opting to play repeats of The Ghost Whisperer, Flashpoint, & NUMB3RS
Two new episodes of The Jockeys airs on APL at 9 & 9:30pm. The jockey couple still struggle with keeping their competiveness at the track & another jockey could be stripped of his win, costing him & the owner some big bucks.
DSC has Adrenaline Rush at 9pm. The three 'big rush' events tonight are a nighttime explosion in a city, a near fatal shark attack & a helicopter plummets into the sea.
E! has The Soup at 10pm, followed by The Soup Awards at 10:30pm, hosted by, of course, Joel McHale. He will award those overlooked members of the entertainment industry.
Real Time with Bill Maher returns to HBO tonight for it's 7th season. Bill is now in primetime at 10pm. I'm just wondering where he'll get all of his material now that Mr. Bush is no longer around.
The clock is ticking on Battlestar Galactica on SCIFI, at 10pm. The final season is nearing a close & viewers are in a tizzy over how it will all end. Tonight, Ellen re-unites with the "Final Five" Cylons & the rebel Cylons are considering abandoning the Colonial Fleet.
MONK ends his 7th season at 9pm on USA. He's trying to deal with the disappearance of an official who was fighting to stop the demolition of the parking lot where Monk's wife was killed.
Psych is finishing up it's 3rd season at 10pm. The elusive serial-killer, Ying Yang, re-surfaces after years in hiding and wants to kill Shawn. Cybil Shepard & Rachael Leigh Cook guest star.

I gave Eliza Dushku a chance when she sucked the life out of the character Faith (on Buffy).
I'll keep recording Dollhouse, though. Gotta support my Whedon.
